I really hope Jlo feels better soon, with speaking to Patrick she sounds such a lovely dog and I will be logging on to keep an update on her progress.

Feb 3rd, 2013. Update.
JLo has been ill and she is now on five Gaverpentine a day with Metercam daily top up for pain relief. I will keep you updated of further changes

Message aimed at visiting guests who do not get their facts right before entering their entitled comments on j-los guest book: J-lo currently now is stable with added illness to this disease of her now scratching her fur out from her back end and legs, she has been placed on more medication prednisolone tablets and as this is a steroid tablet J-lo is gaining weight.

I heard about JLo today through a phone call at work today ( which had nothing to do with Cavs )- but by chance my family have a Cav too who is now 6 and he thankfully is perfectly well.He is THE best friend to our 13 year old daughter who has been going through a tough time lately health wise. I don't know what we would do without him!!! As promised in that phone call this comment is to show that people do care and wish JLo and her owner the very best for the future xxxxx

Update on J-los Current Condition as of TUESDAY MAY 08th 2012
Once again J-lo has had to unfortunately be taken to the vets, and
Has now developed signs of the illness called dried eye syndrome,
Which has added more discomfort to her, she will now require further
Lifelong medication to try to keep this condition under control. I feel
So sorry for her that she keeps having to go back and forth to the vets
And Hospital all the time, But I am reassured that she is definitely NOT
In any pain.

WEDNESDAY FEB 8th 2012 J-lo today had an operation at the Vets, she is recovering very well with No real problems and will not be able to go out for long walks for the next ten days or so, due to the stitches needing to heal. She would like to thank those of you who sent her get well cards.........................Thank you......................

Dear Christine our thoughts are with you, and we are so sorry that you lost Jack to the same condition that J-lo has, Lets hope that someone finds away of treating this illness soon.

Hi just a little message to say merry xmas to you and JLo and to ask how she is our little jack has got a lot worse in the last year and is on maximum medication that he can have, he is at the moment out of pain and seems to be happy.i hope JLo is coping ok and you all have a nice xmas love from chris

Heard about JLo's condition from a friend. I do hope that they find a cure for this condition so that no other dog will suffer from this.

What a shame that breeding has caused this condition. I trust that the research will lead to a permanent cure for this breed.

We really need to get this research underway, I hear that JLo ha been unwell over night and now has to have another MRI scan.I know she is in a lot of pain and I wish her better.

Hi 2 you all that have been kind and left messages of help and support for J-Lo and the other dogs suffering. I can only ask you to help.

J-Lo has not been well today, I know we will raise enough money to get research started into this dreadful ailment.

I have known j-lo 17 month=s i think she is the most addorable little doggy please help i-ve known j-lo and patrick for many years and j-lo since she was a pup Any help would be very much appreciated love Helena & Ricky xx

J-lo is so sweet, such a gorgeous little girl. It's so sad. Our little girl Poppy also a Cavalier King Charles loves seeing J-lo.

We would like to help Patrick with fund raising and hope others reading this will do the same.

I see J-lo on a regular basis and anyone that can shed some light on this condition please help.

Hopfully will raise funds by doing a car boot when the weather gets better.another idea what about a sponsered walk could that be organised with better weather coming probably other people will have some ideas?

Our little jack was diagnosed two days after his 2nd birthday,he had been in a lot of pain and was falling over when he had a MRI scan which told us that he had SM we like yourself we were devestated,he is on permenant medication.we are finding it difficult to get any information on his long term outlook.
